Daejeon World Cup Stadium

With a capacity of 41,000 people, this stadium was built for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/ Japan. The Korean National Team beat the Italian team here and entered the quarterfinals. Currently, it is used for the city’s professional football (soccer) club, the Daejeon Citizens. The complex also contains a rock-climbing wall, an indoor swimming pool, and a fitness center
