Gyeryongsan is stretched from Gongju-si, Gyerong-si, Nonsan-si and Daejeon Metropolitan city, and it has height 845 meters.

Gyeryongsan was named a mountain(Korean: san) in shape of a dragon(龍=ryong) with chicken’s earlobes(鷄=gye) when connecting Cheonhwang bong, Yeoncheon bong, and sambul bong. The highest Cheonhwang bong is 845 meters tall above sea level, and total land area of Gyeryong san is 60.98 square kilometers. There are famous temples in Gyeryong san including Donghak sa, Gab sa, and Shin won sa.
