Dulesan gil

Dulesan gil

Daejeon was called Hanbat which meant a wide field. The Dulesan gil surrounds the city in 12courses and 330li(*500m). One can climb the top of Sirubong in the first course on which one can observe Gyeryongsan, Daedunsan, Seodaesan, and Songnisan. The second course is good for a walk, and one can observe the origin of Daejeon water spring. The third course carries historical meaning, and there is “Meodeulryung” hill where merchants used to stay throughout the history. The fourth course covers Sikjangsan which has a good night view. In the 5th and 6th courses, one can observe the Daechung dam. All these twelve courses provide good hiking routes.
